Description
This 100+ year old area landmark was first renovated to accommodate resort
guests in the 1950's. Occupied soon after construction by the Jergen’s
Family of Jergen's Hand Lotion fame, it has since had a number of minor
renovations with the most significant being in the Spring of 2012. Owned and
operated by the Chiriboga family since 1973, this historic home is the cornerstone of
the Thunderbird Resort & Marina/Villas On Lake George. Currently there are
5 bdrms. and 5 baths. The living and dining room as well as many of the bedrooms have beautiful views of Lake George. There is a private porch overlooking the lake where spectacular sunrises and sunsets are an everyday treat. On the second floor there is an enclosed screened porch with
views of the entire resort, lakefront and distant, eastern shore of Lake George.
Specifically:
Bedroom 1-upstairs, has 1 queen bed, lake view and shares a bath and the
screened porch with Bedroom 2- which has a full bed, fireplace and has a
view of the resort. Bedroom 3- located also on the second floor has a
Queen bed, private bath (shower only) and lake view. Bedroom 4- full size
bed in bedroom and sitting room separated by French doors, full bath and
lake view. Bedroom 5- full size bed in bedroom and sitting room separated
by French doors, full bath, resort view.
Living room w/ fire place and sleeper sofa.
Kitchen is newly renovated with access from dining area and rear of building (resort facing). It includes
oversized stainless steel refrigerator/freezer. Gas stove, microwave, dishwasher and all tableware, cookware, glassware, toaster, can openers etc. are included.
All linens/towels/blankets are supplied. Towels refreshed daily. Color Cable TV in all bedrooms and a large flat screen TV in the living room. A/C throughout. Books and Board games are also supplied.
Upon arrival, a $500 refundable damage deposit as well as a cleaning fee of $250 will be collected.
